I was brought on as a Technical Director by artists Anya Smolnikova and Jared Williams for their art show Rainbow Collapse. One of my responsibilities was creating two glowing masks for the performance.

The main feature of the masks is that they are iridescent like glowing deep sea jelly fish. I achieved this effect by embedding multi-colorer lights in the masks and programming them to cycle slowly. I designed the outer shell of the masks to be flat on the outside, but ridged on the backside to create a diffused textured look. I 3D printed the shells to create the custom shape and to embed mechanical attachment points.
